İleti tanımı (On Dokuzuncu Mektup)

Hem Gazve-i Huneyn’de, başta İmam-ı Müslim olarak ehl-i hadîs haber veriyorlar ki: Gazve-i Huneyn’de –Bedir gibi– küffar, şiddetle hücum ederken yine bir avuç toprak atıp شَاهَتِ ال۟وُجُوهُ diyerek, her birinin kulağına bir شَاهَتِ ال۟وُجُوهُ kelimesi girdiği gibi; biiznillah her birinin yüzüne bir avuç toprak gitti. Gözleriyle meşgul olup kaçtılar.

Also during the Battle of Hunayn(*^[1])

the authorities on Hadith and foremost Imam Muslim report that like at the Battle of Badr, he again threw a handful of earth while the unbelievers were staging a fierce attack. Saying: “May your faces be deformed!”, the handful of earth struck the faces of each of them, with God’s leave, the same as words of the phrase  entered all their ears. Busy with their eyes, they retreated and fled.
