İşte yatan adamın gördüğü doğrudur, doğru görmüş fakat rüyada iken ihatasız olduğu için tabirde hakkı olmadığından, âlem-i maddî ile âlem-i manevîyi birbirinden fark etmediğinden hükmü kısmen yanlıştır ki “Ben hakiki, maddî bir deniz gördüm.” der. Fakat uyanık adam, âlem-i misal ile âlem-i maddîyi fark ettiği için tabirde hakkı vardır ki dedi: “Gördüğün doğrudur fakat hakiki deniz değil; belki şu süt kâsemiz senin hayaline deniz gibi olmuş, kaval da köprü gibi olmuş ve hâkeza…”
